  • Highly recommended! Hiked to BC, followed by an epic 3-High-Passes trek. This was the third time I travelled with the Himalayan Trails team. Mads, the backoffice team, guides (Tendu) and porters always go above and beyond to make this it memorable experience! This time - despite adverse weather conditions - (we've lost 4 days at the beginning of the trip) they somehow managed to get us to the end without missing out on anything. I will be back, for sure!

    Our pre-season 14-day trekking adventure (Nar, Phu, Tilicho Lake, Annapurna Circuit) was deeply moving, spectacular, and magical. This was largely thanks to the attentive and fantastic guidance of Bire (guide) and Taj (porter), as well as the professional and compassionate support from the Himalayan Trails office team, especially Amanda and Raj. Everything went perfectly - communication before, during, and after the trip was immediate, excellent, and caring. Questions were answered quickly, and we received valuable information about daily matters, culture, the mountain environment, and so on, along with excellent orientation and briefings throughout the trek. For our next trekking trip in Nepal, we would definitely choose Himalayan Trails again, especially since they are also very committed to sustainability.

    Nepal – A Land That Stole Our Hearts, and a Team That Made It Unforgettable and Became Family We recently completed a once-in-a-lifetime motorcycle journey through Nepal, from the white-water thrills of Trisuli to the raw beauty of Upper Mustang. What made this adventure truly exceptional was the incredible team at Himalayan Trails Awesome Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. From the outset, Mads crafted a tailor-made itinerary that balanced thrill, culture, comfort, and surprise perfectly—rafting, riding, and resting in some of the most stunning and authentic locations Nepal has to offer. The accommodations and meals throughout were well thought out and far exceeded our expectations. Special thanks to: Raj, for flawlessly leading the operations and making everything run seamlessly behind the scenes. Goofy Da, our unstoppable group ride captain—full of joy, patience, and unwavering support no matter how unreasonable our requests were. Always smiling, always delivering. Mahesh, our “Chief Mechanic”, who kept every bike ride-ready, even if it meant fixing them late into the night with bamboo, rocks, or pure ingenuity. Kaushik and Suresh Da, who drove our 4x4 support vehicles like pros through mud, rocks, rivers, and chaos—never spilling a single snack! Ritesh Ji, who led the broader support team with grace and calm, always ready to adjust plans and care for us with kindness and a smile. The professionalism, passion, and genuine care shown by this team turned our trip into something truly meaningful. They didn’t just provide a service—they became part of our story. If you're thinking of exploring Nepal—especially by motorbike or off-the-beaten-path adventures—I cannot recommend Himalayan Trails highly enough. This is not your average tour company.   • I was genuinely excited about this trip, as it was my first solo adventure. Despite the unexpected circumstances I encountered upon arriving in Nepal, my guides were attentive and dedicated, going above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience and could stick to my itinerary.     Through the Kimkim platform, Himalayan Trails (HT) planned and coordinated a 2 week trip from Beijing to Kathmandu for my US based daughter and I. Having traveled extensively to more than 40+ countries, we had a very positive experience working with HT. Key reasons: - timely and thorough communication before, during, and after the trip - experienced staff that were nuanced in their understanding of important details - demonstrated flexibility in modifying the schedule to accommodate personal preferences - effective use of local guides/resources that are very personable and knowledgeable of the location and key attractions - the entire team is focused on ensuring client satisfaction I highly endorse HT's services, even for the most discriminating clients.

    Truly a trip of a lifetime. Once we had decided to spend a month exploring Nepal, we pretty well handed the organisation on to Mads and the team at Himalayan Trails and never looked back. The passion and professionalism with which every aspect of our trip was planned and executed was absolutely top rate, leaving us to soak up the whole experience of extraordinary people and places, stress free. Our guides were not only extremely knowledgeable and experienced, but excellent company and the accommodation, when not trekking, always exceeded our expectations. We will never forget the exhilaration of walking in those mountains, especially on the crisp, clear day we crossed the Larke Pass on the Manaslu circuit with the dawning sun painting the mountains golden. Our wildlife safaris in both Suklaphanta and Bardia National Park again exceeded expectations, not just in terms of the amazing wildlife (yes we did see two Bengal Tigers!) but again the expertise and professionalism of the guides and excellent accommodation. I cant recommend Himalayan Trails highly enough and are already planning our next trek with them. Thanks again to the whole team for making the memories from this bucket list trip ones to cherish.

    Perfekte Organisation und voll auf unsere Bedürfnisse zugeschnittene Tour. Wir waren 10 Tage im Langtang Gebiet und Gosaikunda unterwegs. Die Vorbetreuung durch Amanda und das Vorgespräch mit Raj waren optimal. Unser Guide (Kesap) kümmerte sich rührend um uns und wusste auf all unsere vielen Fragen eine Antwort. Er bereitete uns hervorragend auf den jeweiligen kommen Tag vor und organisierte alles perfekt rund um jedes Teehaus. Unser Träger (Dipak) war immer bei uns, unterstütze uns immer als „Nachhut“ und stand uns bei ebenfalls dauernd zur Verfügung. Wir konnten uns einfach auf die Landschaft, die Leute, die Höhe einlassen. Eine Traumtour, trotz teilweise schlechten Wetters. Wir würden sofort wieder Himalayan Trails wählen. Vielen Dank für die wunderschönen Tage!
