  • Perfekte Organisation und voll auf unsere Bedürfnisse zugeschnittene Tour. Wir waren 10 Tage im Langtang Gebiet und Gosaikunda unterwegs. Die Vorbetreuung durch Amanda und das Vorgespräch mit Raj waren optimal. Unser Guide (Kesap) kümmerte sich rührend um uns und wusste auf all unsere vielen Fragen eine Antwort. Er bereitete uns hervorragend auf den jeweiligen kommen Tag vor und organisierte alles perfekt rund um jedes Teehaus. Unser Träger (Dipak) war immer bei uns, unterstütze uns immer als „Nachhut“ und stand uns bei ebenfalls dauernd zur Verfügung. Wir konnten uns einfach auf die Landschaft, die Leute, die Höhe einlassen. Eine Traumtour, trotz teilweise schlechten Wetters. Wir würden sofort wieder Himalayan Trails wählen. Vielen Dank für die wunderschönen Tage!

    Truly a trip of a lifetime. Once we had decided to spend a month exploring Nepal, we pretty well handed the organisation on to Mads and the team at Himalayan Trails and never looked back. The passion and professionalism with which every aspect of our trip was planned and executed was absolutely top rate, leaving us to soak up the whole experience of extraordinary people and places, stress free. Our guides were not only extremely knowledgeable and experienced, but excellent company and the accommodation, when not trekking, always exceeded our expectations. We will never forget the exhilaration of walking in those mountains, especially on the crisp, clear day we crossed the Larke Pass on the Manaslu circuit with the dawning sun painting the mountains golden. Our wildlife safaris in both Suklaphanta and Bardia National Park again exceeded expectations, not just in terms of the amazing wildlife (yes we did see two Bengal Tigers!) but again the expertise and professionalism of the guides and excellent accommodation. I cant recommend Himalayan Trails highly enough and are already planning our next trek with them. Thanks again to the whole team for making the memories from this bucket list trip ones to cherish.

    Himalayan Trails went above and beyond to make our trip seamless and memorable. Their attention to detail, friendly service, and passion for Nepal set them apart. When a natural disaster meant amendments to our trek were required, they ensured we were safe and still got to see the highlights of the amazing Himalayas. Their staff are very experienced and so very friendly. I highly recommend Himalayan Trails to anyone seeking an extraordinary and unforgettable travel experience in Nepal.

  • Highly recommended! Hiked to BC, followed by an epic 3-High-Passes trek. This was the third time I travelled with the Himalayan Trails team. Mads, the backoffice team, guides (Tendu) and porters always go above and beyond to make this it memorable experience! This time - despite adverse weather conditions - (we've lost 4 days at the beginning of the trip) they somehow managed to get us to the end without missing out on anything. I will be back, for sure!

    Myself and my two uncles did an extended version of the Tsum Valley and Manaslu trek and up through Larke Pass. Everything was so well organised, we barely had to think about anything other than what we wanted to eat! The guide and porter that travelled with us were so lovely, caring, accommodating and skilled at what they do. The trek itself was challenging and so beautiful, we often found ourselves on a lesser-known trail that was a great and beautiful alternative to some of the crowded sections of the Manaslu Circuit. We had time to do short side trips on rest days during the trek, in which some of my favourite memories were made- such as trekking up to the Tibetan Border at 5300m! We visited many Gumpas along the way which was so special. The local people welcomed us warmly at every place we went. The weather was absolutely perfect for the trek from Dharmasala up to Larke Pass rounding off the trek perfectly. The staff working in the office at Himalayan Trails are all so lovely and helpful, and are a pleasure to spend a little time with if you have extra time and they aren’t too busy. I will definitely be using Himalayan Trails for my next trip to Nepal! Love, Anusha

  • I trekked the Pikey Peak for my 50th birthday with my sister and it was fabulous. We experienced a flooding disaster with heavy rain and weren't able to complete parts of the trek but our tour guides were fabulous and kept us safe and happy. Tendu, Tenjee and Dolma were awesome becoming more then guides, but friends. I highly recommend Himalayan-Trails for any adventure in Nepal. I will be back for sure. Thanks Team Himalayan-Trails

    Nepal – A Land That Stole Our Hearts, and a Team That Made It Unforgettable and Became Family We recently completed a once-in-a-lifetime motorcycle journey through Nepal, from the white-water thrills of Trisuli to the raw beauty of Upper Mustang. What made this adventure truly exceptional was the incredible team at Himalayan Trails Awesome Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. From the outset, Mads crafted a tailor-made itinerary that balanced thrill, culture, comfort, and surprise perfectly—rafting, riding, and resting in some of the most stunning and authentic locations Nepal has to offer. The accommodations and meals throughout were well thought out and far exceeded our expectations. Special thanks to: Raj, for flawlessly leading the operations and making everything run seamlessly behind the scenes. Goofy Da, our unstoppable group ride captain—full of joy, patience, and unwavering support no matter how unreasonable our requests were. Always smiling, always delivering. Mahesh, our “Chief Mechanic”, who kept every bike ride-ready, even if it meant fixing them late into the night with bamboo, rocks, or pure ingenuity. Kaushik and Suresh Da, who drove our 4x4 support vehicles like pros through mud, rocks, rivers, and chaos—never spilling a single snack! Ritesh Ji, who led the broader support team with grace and calm, always ready to adjust plans and care for us with kindness and a smile. The professionalism, passion, and genuine care shown by this team turned our trip into something truly meaningful. They didn’t just provide a service—they became part of our story. If you're thinking of exploring Nepal—especially by motorbike or off-the-beaten-path adventures—I cannot recommend Himalayan Trails highly enough. This is not your average tour company.
