WOW… just, WOW!!! My experience trekking the Manaslu Circuit in May 2025 with Himalayan Trails (HT) was above & beyond a 5-star experience. From the pre-trek on-line communication with Grishma who helped to tailor my trek so that I was able to visit and stay at out of the way monasteries, to the exquisite guidance, support and comraderie I experienced with Mingma Sherpa (25+ yrs of guiding and trekking in the Himalayas) & Nuru Sherpa (porter with a heart of pure gold) — my 17 day trek was an experience, a pilgrimage really, that went beyond what I could’ve dared dream it might be! I felt expertly guided, informed, cared for and supported throughout the entire process (pre & post trek included). I also feel that it’s important to work with a trekking outfit that cares for and pays it’s guides and porters well & responsibly — Lonely Planet lists HT as just such a company and it is clear to me that they live up to that endorsement. I plan on making many future treks in Nepal — Mustang, Tsum & others — and I will most definitely continue to work with the Himalayan Trails team. I couldn’t recommend them more strongly! Britt OlsonPerfekte Organisation und voll auf unsere Bedürfnisse zugeschnittene Tour. Wir waren 10 Tage im Langtang Gebiet und Gosaikunda unterwegs. Die Vorbetreuung durch Amanda und das Vorgespräch mit Raj waren optimal. Unser Guide (Kesap) kümmerte sich rührend um uns und wusste auf all unsere vielen Fragen eine Antwort. Er bereitete uns hervorragend auf den jeweiligen kommen Tag vor und organisierte alles perfekt rund um jedes Teehaus. Unser Träger (Dipak) war immer bei uns, unterstütze uns immer als „Nachhut“ und stand uns bei ebenfalls dauernd zur Verfügung. Wir konnten uns einfach auf die Landschaft, die Leute, die Höhe einlassen. Eine Traumtour, trotz teilweise schlechten Wetters. Wir würden sofort wieder Himalayan Trails wählen. Vielen Dank für die wunderschönen Tage!
Christoph JeschkeOur pre-season 14-day trekking adventure (Nar, Phu, Tilicho Lake, Annapurna Circuit) was deeply moving, spectacular, and magical. This was largely thanks to the attentive and fantastic guidance of Bire (guide) and Taj (porter), as well as the professional and compassionate support from the Himalayan Trails office team, especially Amanda and Raj. Everything went perfectly - communication before, during, and after the trip was immediate, excellent, and caring. Questions were answered quickly, and we received valuable information about daily matters, culture, the mountain environment, and so on, along with excellent orientation and briefings throughout the trek. For our next trekking trip in Nepal, we would definitely choose Himalayan Trails again, especially since they are also very committed to sustainability.
