Ride the brilliant downhill trails from the World Peace Pagoda to Phewa Lake, discover Davi’s Falls and explore the nearby caves, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Annapurna mountains.

Departure: Pokhara
Duration: 1 day
Best Season: October to March (possible all year round)

We’ll pack our bikes into the van and start the day with a short drive up to the World Peace Pagoda, from where we get incredible views of the Annapurna mountain massif, Phewa Lake and Pokhara.  The World Peace Pagoda is a Buddhist stupa, a monument to inspire peace, designed to provide a focus for people of all races and creeds and to help unite them in their search for world peace. From here we have a brilliant downhill ride to Davi’s falls, with Annapurna and Lake Phewa visible all the way down. This is an impressive waterfall marking the point where the Pardi Khola stream vanishes underground - when full, the sound of the water plunging over the falls is deafening!

We will then spend some time exploring the nearby Gupreshwor cave, a 3km long cave with tight passageways leading to great chambers which hold special value for Hindus - your guide will be able to tell you all about the legends which arose here! We will also visit the temple to Lord Shiva located inside these caves. Emerging from the darkness of the caves, we cycle back down to Pokhara for a scenic ride along the bank of Lake Phewa.
